Malaga City Tour & Gibralfaro
A Segway ride from Phoenicians to our times
We leave Pier One in the Port of Malaga, we go through the "Palmeral de las Sorpresas” in the Pier Two and cross the wonderful gardens of the Paseo del Parque, one of the most important parks in Europe in terms of tropical plants.
We arrived at the Cathedral, also called "la Manquita" because they never finished constructing the South Tower; however it is one of the Renaissance treasures of architecture of Andalusia.
We cannot stop rolling in front of the door of the great Picasso Museum, one of the two art galleries in the city dedicated to the artist along with his birthplace; both bring together an important collection of works, documents and memories that travel and summarize the inspired artistic life of Pablo Ruiz Picasso.
We cross from the corner of his birthplace, the Plaza de la Merced, an important square of Malaga, presided over by an obelisk in the center dedicated to General Torrijos for his courage to defend the city.
Here, on our Segway, we reach the Roman Amphitheatre, built by César Augusto in the ancient Roman city of Malaca and that was discovered in 1951 during the construction of the Palace of Archives and Libraries (House of culture).
In the middle of this journey through time, we go from the Monte de Gilbralfaro to the Parador Nacional and we allow ourselves to be seduced by the history and the landscape, enjoying the most amazing views of the coast of Malaga.
We return to the city and its streets, roll up to the Plaza de Uncibay which gets its name from the Basque captain Fernando de Uncibay, who led the conquest of Malaga under the command of the Catholic monarchs. We continue our journey through the Plaza de la Constitución to the famous Calle Larios, built in century 19th by the family of the same name and converted today into the fifth shopping street more expensive in Spain.
From here we pass by the Paseo del Parque back to the Pier One, along the Paseo de la Farola, its balconies, and the Malagueta beach.
We already reach our starting point, still with fresh memories of the wonderful tour of Malaga and its history on our Segway which, like weather, never stops rolling.
If you want to learn about Malaga, its historic center and streets, as well as the impressive ascent to Monte Gibralfaro, where you will enjoy unparalleled views of the entire city and its beautiful coast, the "City Tour Gibralfaro" is what you were looking for.

"An amazing experience"
To start using this device is somewhat different. I had never done it and I thought was incredible. On the other hand, a city tour in the is the best way to explore it. And finally a salute to Sergio that I attended as well and that had me so patiently.

"So fun I recommend with children"
We were a Saturday at 4 p.m., the tour lasted 1 hour, and we had never before uploaded on a segway. We went with children of 12 years and pump passed it. We learned very interesting things from Malaga and enjoy the city from another perspective.
Super nice, educated staff and patients, teach you the management and are very nice.
I recommend it for a good time of laughter and entertainment. We will certainly return.
